Smug bastard keeps telling me to stop playing

How do I turn off the annoying guy that keeps telling me to stop playing and go outside. I've checked all settings and can't find one for him. If I want to play for 6 hours I'll play for 6 hours. I don't need to be scolded 3 times in that day.

It's a community beloved feature, he just tells you to take a break every 2 hours of uninterrupted gameplay, no way to disable it btw

If you play for long enough the messages stop. I think back in Anno 1503 I got there after something like 10h or 12h. I don't know how long you need to continously play Anno 1800 until it stops.

As far as I know, the only message that appears when the game has been playing for over 12 hours is the 24-hour message. I've only seen that in this YouTube Clip so far.

The translation from German to English is something like this:

• The visible message reads: "You have played for 24 hours. You are not Jack Bauer."
  
• The audible message reads: "24 hours and the game is still running. End of the line, no more playtime warnings from now on. Let's hope you've fast forwarded, gone to bed and I'm just talking to myself now."

Not even possible for me, the UI disappears and the game becomes unplayable around the 7-8 hour mark like clockwork.

I was just playing Anno 1404 and when this popped up I was thinking, I wonder if this is still in the new games? Then I saw this thread lol. Good to know its still there.

Sitting down for a pro-longer period of time could result in blood clots. Its good reminder to stand up and move around a little.

Yeah it would be a better feature if it was linked directly to play time like that. But I get up every hour and will often leave game paused while I go eat or go out for a few hours and come back. Then unpause and 30 mins later he's yapping at me again.
