Yeah, as an example:
I used the one giving fur coats (and sewing machines) to allow me to reach Engineers way earlier.
A bit later I got the fashion designer and produced the fur coats locally, but well, the temp item was available and is pretty cheap anyway.
You can unlock the lady that allows to produce forcoats with wool as a Paloma drop (with golden tickets in the main menu) it for free at every save
Rushing engineers is a usage I suppose but you still can't maintain them and grow them. Also ..never experienced it but what happens when they loose the lower tier supplies? Would engineers go below 30 after loosing coats and machines?
You can calculate how many engineers would still live in a house. In this regard it does not matter if it is a "lower tier" or "higher tier" good. They all work the same.
What I meant was that I wouldn't normally go and *buy* them.
