Even the low level competitors 80 hours into a save can be surprising.
Especially when you enable cape trawnley etc, all the AI have the potential to grow non stop vs the player themselves.
Try to win a war with steam ships etc against the biggest AI, now there are flamers, cannons, bombs to drop from blimps.
It can get so good🙂
I know it looks like 3 isn't much, but it's plays out well trust me.
I have over 300 hours in game messing around with AI etc so just give it a try
hmmm , maybe since i have no dlc but the three star ai are a cakewalk on base game.
I have all the dlc on Ubisoft, with the extra zones, and new larger islands in new world it makes the late game crazy.
I have had Willy, the 1 star AI get a fleet so large after being wiped out in old world, so he had 1 island in new and almost all islands in cape, his military rating was higher than mine when I found his armada way later down the line lol.
A 1 star AI built up to have a military rating of like 500 more than me because he was outta site outta mind for so long, but he didn't have steam ships old galleys, so I had the tech advantage to his number advantage.
Made for a fun war, I won eventually just because he never attacked, was always defending islands.
Edit: other thing is island with oil is limited, it's like 4 island with oil in old world, so it's reason why limited to 3 a.i and player.
