Saved game not upgraded to New World Rising

Hello, is there a way to force Anno 1800 to upgrade a saved game to New World Rising? I can play the scenario and see much older saves were upgraded to New World Rising but not my main game. Thanks

i dont think, because new world rising map is different, you expand to north and get a new continent, so it is the map itself you ask to change

and the game already say than you need restart with new fresh game to enjoy new add on

Strange. Did you buy the individual New World Rising DLC or Season 4? Although that shouldn't matter.

My current game got upgraded to include New World Rising, including upgrading the map to add in the extra space and new islands.

Plus you say "much older saves". Any save made before New World Rising's launch would not be upgraded. You would have to load those saves, and the game would ask you if you would like to add the new DLC.

So long story short, I loaded a save right before launch, Dec 8th, and got prompted to upgrade the save, so it resolved the issue. It is a bit weird.
