Pirate Traffic Jam

Well, I have ships positioned at all the 'bottle-neck' points. Plus coastal defences on my islands too, of course. It's so funny seeing a swarm of pirate ships sailing around all confused in circles, like fish in a barrel. LMAO!

This made me laugh so much, I thought I'd share it!

This is what I did on my main save with Jean La Fortune as well, as he's far more annoying than Anne. It's funny and quite entertaining, especially when they get so many ships up at the same time, that it looks like a massive blob on the minimap.

After a while, however, it gets annoying needing to watch over him like he's a child, ready to cause a headache, and the frequent "Your ship is under attack!" notifications, some Battle Cruisers were made and he was taken out from the game for a peace of one's mind

its good.. but its better to pay the pirats always.. and give them from time to time positive message plus a present so you get more and more symphatic points/diplomatic points.. and if you have enough you go/do peace and trading even alianze is possible.. i often get trading rights sometimes allianze so i can atack the other players for free if needed
and best is trading with them for items.. espacialy those torpedos are strong.

I only keep the pirates around for 1 reason and that's so that I can destroy all of their ships for item drops.
You don't even have to declare war. Just put a pirate flag item in a slot on your best attack ships and go all out. Will sink every single ship that they have on the map, wait for the cool down on my items, and then rinse and repeat.

It's really funny having 100 relationship and trade rights with the pirates and still wiping out all of their ships.
