Expeditions difficulty
Is there a mod to make expeditions more easy to complete? I keep getting random -20/30% events in the 3 star expeditions and I'm forced to retire most of the time, is there a mod to make them more easily winnable or some other way to do it?

You don't load your expedition ships with items and specialist suited to boost your chances at events choices?

Yes but even with the items at 100% losing 20% for a bad event is way too much, they give me something like +15% chance in the choices
I really hate topics like this. There are mods available that change the expeditions and mods that add different items and specialists that you can use.
Instead of making a pointless topic. Spend 30 seconds of your life and actually search for what you are looking for. Mod.io has a search bar. Just type in what you want.
If you don't like some topic don't read it or answer to it, it's plenty of those I don't answer nor read. Not sure why your pointless complain?

you probably taking low items /goods that are low tier..
there is items you can take with you and there is goods.. and they give differet value.. some give 10 some 20 and so on.. it also depents on your ship too.

have 1 - 3 ships for expeditions.. and set those ships always with those items so you can have higher succes chances.

i some how lost a ship when it fulfilled all requierements and was at 100% .. there where like 4 ore 5 events with that expedition. and i somehow failed all.. i dont understand how even i had always 30/35 chance to succed. i failed all 4 ..

i also dont understand for what you need or should take food.. it will coast you 1 food to give to your crue and you will still lose 8 moral instat of 10.. wow saved 2 moral. its so stupid made.. the whole game hase so many problems in it..
Because YOU are the only person who knows exactly what YOU are looking for. If you browse through the available mods then you will find something that suits your needs.

If your specialist guarantees 100% success chance under a certain situation, you should always succeed when that situation happens. But if the reaction decision screen pops up and you decide to choose another action that prevents that situation from happening or is outside the specialist's expertise, then you might be subject to failure chance penalties. For example, if you bring an ex-pirate specialist on an expedition, he'll typically give 100% success rate in pirate encounters that need his skills. But if you decide to react differently like making a religious decision to persuade the pirates about the morality of helping you instead of persuading them through accepted pirate conduct (just for example), then his expertise would be obviously irrelevant to the outcome of that decision. Instead, a priest specialist would be more suitable in boosting the success chance in that situation.

In contrast, if you're referring to completely random events that do not guarantee 100% success with any specialist, then the outcome would only depend on RNG. So it's not like any specialist is expected to guarantee success in those situations although some may have the skills to increase your success chance.

You don’t give any information about what you’re doing.

Late game all expeditions should be easy because you have ships with loafs of slots for items.
It must be because I'm still no able to get the best items, I have some good things like sails and experts but I'm still not at golden items or anything like that
Try buying some trade union specialists at elly's prison, they won't fit in ship slots, but while on board they will help with more expedition stats like crafting, diplomacy, hunting, etc
And for rations, champagne may be good as it also doubles as a 10% diplomacy item

I didn't know I could take experts with me that aren't in the ship socket, thank you
Trade union specialists help but you'll need a ship with many slots if you want to increase your success chance AND have enough slots left for rations and expedition reward items.

I used go with frigates but I've noticed they're basically useless at difficulty 2 already, now I only send ship of the line and cruisers, great for slots even though the ship of the line really can't carry much, many times I have to throw things out to get a good reward mid expedition
Whether to throw things out or not really depends on the reward and remaining expedition encounters. Sometimes, you can throw out a rare specialist for a legendary one in the same profession that you got as a reward. Sometimes, you've already used a specialist for an encounter you know will unlikely happen again on the same expedition, if ever, and can throw him out if he's not that rare. Or if you're nearing the end of the expedition, you could just throw out the remaining rations to keep more rewards.

Is there a way to tell how encounters still remain? Sometimes I have like 4-5 events then I'm forced to come home, but maybe I was only 1 event away from suceeding
