Hi friends
I'm a newcomer at the game and I have 2 questions:
1- I'm told I need sheepfold and nearby warehouse. But when I build a road from one to he other I'm told there's missing sheepfold. What asm I doing wrong?
2- is there any way to reverse the coundown of money?
Thanlks!

I'm afraid, looks like system does'nt allow me to

F12 saves a screenshot to Pictures/UbisoftConnect/Anno 1800

A Print Screen saves it somewhere else I haven't figured out yet. Probably in the Steam folder. But you can still paste it in something like "paint" then upload it yourself.

EDIT: Actual I'm starting to think you mean the fields for a sheep farm. You place 3. You click on the sheep farm, then there is the "sheep fold" icon on the left in the building. Then you place those fields around the sheep far within it's radius.

Is your warehouse connected to your main trading post on the coast? Otherwise it won't acknowledge it

You'll start earning money when you provide goods to enough residents so that you gain more than what you spend. At the start it's normal to lose money, you can be on positive income with fish+work cloth if you build enough houses, but always check that you are producing enough
Hi Chaosium
thanks for the answer.
All warehouses are connceted to the roads system, which is connected to the trading post. Indeed I'm over 900 citizens.
It's very strange.

Have you built pastures for the sheepfold? The hotkey is G when it's selected, it needs 3 of them

Ahoy!
Each building has a range to reach the nearest warehouse or the trading post. When you click on the building, the roads will turn green showing the distance they will get and deliver goods. Keep in mind also that the closer a building is to a warehouse, the more effective it is since it's less time moving things back and forth with is added on to the loading and unloading speed at the building and also at the warehouse.

Cheers,
Admiral 8Q
Thanks so much.
I'm trying
No way
Even with all free space around it, If I bulid the road to the farm, says "missing sheepfold". If I don't, "no warehouse in range".
The same happens to potato fields.
Can you give us a screen to better understand what's happening?

Hi, maybe a dumb question, but have you build the fields for the farms? You have to click on the farm house and in the popup menu you can choose the fields (sheepfold/potato field/…) and place them in close proximity to the farm house.
If you have done this maybe you have build blueprints instead of actual fields.

EDIT: If anyone's wondering, I left those 2x3 spots for silos if I can get a good supply of grain to boost the sheep farms. ;)

The gigantic pig farms get all the grain silos now since making soap and selling it to "Prison Island" makes a huge income. :P LOL!

Hi
I had the same problem than you but finally I got it. You click on the farm, opens an icon down on the right. In this icon, you see a field icon on the left. You must lick it and there appears a field that you must place near the farm. Shall do this 3 times.

Thanks, Admiral8!

Understanding the question is half the problem to be able to answer it. ;)

You're welcome.
