I'm struggling with a purchase problem
Hey there :OTTTD_TalkHand:

I own Anno 1800 with Season Pass 1 and Season Pass 2 and I also own the Deluxe (Anarchist) and the Holidays (Christmas) DLC. But on Ubisoft, not Steam.
I know, when I buy the base game on Steam, I can play with my bought DLCs on Ubisoft, but this is not my problem.

My problem ist, that I want the whole game (all 4 Season Passes and all cosmetic DLCs).

- When I buy the Aniversary Edition, I paid double for the stuff I listed above.
- When I buy only Season Pass 3 and Season Pass 4 here on Steam, I dont own the cosmetic Packs.
- Even I would decide to buy the cosmetics in a later, bigger deal and even they would be 50% off, then I had paid more (with todays Season Pass 3 & 4) compared with the Aniversary Edition.

Argh! I wish I had never buy it on Ubisoft 4-5 years ago, so I can buy the aniversay on Steam without paid half the stuiff twice.
When I bought that on Ubi, I never thought it will come back to Steam.

What would you do in my position? :QuestMark:

Ubisoft are selling Season Passes 3 & $ (50%) and the Cosmetic Pack bundles (?25%) at discounts right now

Yes, I can see that and I knew that myself, thank you.
The cosmetic bundles are only 20% off and I would save a lot, when I would buy the aniversary edition (instead of buying season pass 3 and 4 and both cosmetic bundles separately).
But my struggle about that is explained in my previous posting.
I have the same problem. Bought the same package as you years ago on the Ubisoft storefront. I thought through deep discounts i could get everything else cheap, but alas, their sales suck.
Their Anno 1800 stuff was on sale yesterday and I added up all the individual pieces of DLC I needed for the complete package and it came to around $74. And that was WITH sale prices. The Annoversary package on their site was $65, on Steam its $52. What?!

So, for people like us the only real solution is to buy the Annoversary edition here for $52 and just accept we had to buy some content twice. If I would have known back then it was eventually going to come here I would have just waited.

My plan for now is to just play with what I have and hope when Anno 117 releases that maybe there will be an even deeper sale here and/or on Ubistore.

What made me really upset, are two things. The game came out on 16th April 2019 and I bought it on 20th November 2020.
1. I bought the "Anno 1800 Complete Edition". I NEVER thought, there will be a third, a forth and a ton of cosmetic DLCs after that. It was the COMPLETE Edition.
2. I NEVER thought, that this game will come back to Steam. If I had know this, I had never buy it on Ubi-Store.

Okay, sure, now we can buy the base game on Steam to play all our bought Ubi-Store-DLCs and the base game is 90% in sale... but all this dont help me with my struggle...

I was SO close to buy the aniversary edition, but honestly, I will wait for a bigger disocunt. Maybe in an easter sale or summer sale. 52 € is way too much for a game I already paid the "complete edition" and by the way, its too much money for a 6 year old game.
Same here. I bought Year 4 Gold Edition on steam 2 years ago, it has everything except the 16 cosmetic packs.
Now if I want to have everything,
Cosmetic Pack Bundle #1 + Cosmetic Pack Bundle #2 = $19.99 + $31.99 = $51.98
and the Annoversary edition is only $51.99
