hidden requirement for pearl harvester?

i have fertility but its telling me i cannot build the pearl harvester. i have 5000 investors so there is a demand for the jewelry, what other requirement is there that is not listed?
i have 1300 obreros

If you have pearl fertility on the island you want to build pearls on that should work. They also require first tier workers not second. Must be built on the beach and have a road to a warehouse. Do you have all the materials available in your warehouse to build the pearl farms? Can only be built in the New World not the Old.

yea im aware of how it supposed to work. its just not. i have the fertility and the beach space and several hundred bricks, steel, and wood. i think its a bug.

I couldn't find it a few weeks back, it's hidden in the dock build menu group (I was expecting it to be in a separate group, or with jewelry)

i got same problem i know where it is and i got every thing but the pearl farmer building is just locked im atm at engineer lvl and still its locked this wasent before i think its since update 13

New bug with GU13. There's a few people posting on the Ubi Forums and Reddit regarding it and they are aware of it.

Yes, pearls do not work in current patch.

It's a bug. Go looking for TU specialists that make pearl farms redundant instead, if you don't wanna wait for the devs to fix it.

i have a bug in the old world that makes my shares not show it only shows for 2 to 4 min they goes away evrery time

I have played some mod combinations where I could not get pearl farms even on islands with pearls, I wish I would tell you which ones.
