In short: We have ended main development on Anno 1800 and are not planning more DLC for the game aside from 3 more Cosmetic DLC (first of those releasing on May 23rd)
Plans change Thorlof :)
I know with all the DLC so far, the engine is being stretched to it's limits, but with content like there is for Anno 2070 (world events, voting, etc) that wouldn't be necesarry. With the added stuff where you can unlock ingame stuff with the coins in the grand gallery, that makes it similar to unlocking content for your Ark that you can use in every new game/scenario for instance.
And I don't think the current scenarios were part of DLC, right?
On the scenario topic: We did release one scenario for everyone with Game Update 13 at the end of 2021. The remaining 3 scenarios were part of the Season 4 DLC.
