Mods without mod.io account
Ingame it tells me that I need an account to instaIl mods :(

Can I load them somehow without an extra account ?

You can download and install mods manually from mod.io. Just go to the anno site on mod.io, select a mod and click on "download files manually" and put them into the "Anno 1800/mods" folder.

You only need an account if you want to install and update the mods automatically.

Most of the mods on mod.io are also on nexus mods. You would just need to follow the download and install directions.
