Year 5 Gold Edition / Definitive Annoversary

Hello I'm looking for this game and a bit lost about the more than 30 DLCs and various bundles.

I'm curious about the Gold Edition and Definitive Annoversary, I can't find any info on those on store page, does anyone knows what they contain ? I'm especially wondering if any of those has all DLCs or at least all major content DLCs, or if close to it, then which DLCs it lacks ^^

The year 5 is the base game + all the content dlcs with new missions, maps and game mechanics.

The Annoversary is the same as year 5 but it has 16 cosmetic dlcs too, they change nothing in the game except they add themed decorations to the game

Have you checked the “comparitive grid” section in the shop page? This compares all editions/bundle showing whats included and what not…

Yes, look for "COMPARATIVE GRID", it's just above "ABOUT THIS GAME" then click "read more" of that section (not the "about this game" section).

I had missed it too but it's there, with alll the details.

Yeah, I was once more considering the game, and I'm sure it's great, but once again I will decline contracting the cancer that is Ubisoft's marketing decisions.

Well it's just there in plain sight, it's okay if you didn't see it immediately, as I said I missed it too before making this thread, but it is there and it is exactly what was explained in the answer to this thread, can't tell you better than that.

The problem exists because some vendors mis-name the version called GOLD by Ubisoft in their comparative Grid as Year 5 or Year 5 Gold. Ubisoft did call some previous editions Year 2 Gold, Year 3 Gold etc, but made it just GOLS at the end because they know that there wouldn't be any more years. Use Ubisoft's grid; it's definitive and very clearly explained.
The situation is further complicated by some vendors putting together different bundles that are not official release. Steam quite often does this, and may also be part of the confusion

Yes, it's the others' fault if you simply don't understand that there is a Gold Edition but no Year 5 Gold Edition. And then you troll because you don't understand the difference. But the main thing is to always blame others. But it seems that your English site says something different. On the German site there is a button where you can buy Year 5 and nowhere does it say what exactly the Year 5 Edition includes. But OK, if you don't understand what it's about then you just have to blame others, that's how it was, that's how it is, that's how it will always be.
