Activate key ubisoft

Hi I bought a game on steam and now I have to activate a key/code on this game. I don`t get this code on email, where I can find it?

I had the same issue, but after checking online, people said to completely close steam, close ubisoft connect, and relaunch. This should fix the problem. (It worked for me)

I screwed that up. I couldn't find it either my trouble was I used two different email accounts. One for Ubisoft and one for Steam.

I changed to Ubisoft email to match my Steam account, and no key was needed.

So, make sure your Steam and Ubisoft are the same email accounts. For me anyway.

To troubleshoot this issue we advise you to apply the following steps in this order >

1. Check no updates are waiting to be downloaded and that Ubisoft Connect is fully updated
2. Verify the game files of the game you are trying to launch in both Steam and Ubisoft Connect, to see if this will initiate an update >

Restarted my entire PC... still asking for the CD Key... Getting a refund...
Stop requireing exta crap to play a game. use steam login insted

Sorry to hear it.
Before you do that, please try this last advice:

Please download and install a new version of Ubisoft Connect from its official website: Download Ubisoft Connect[www.ubisoft.com]

IMPORTANT! Run Ubisoft Connect and Steam clients as administrator and try again:
Running applications with administrator rights[www.ubisoft.com]

Sometimes you will need to close Ubisoft Connect completely (not just minimise it to the system tray) and then launch the game from Steam, for accounts to link correctly.


Many players before had this issue, and this usually resolves it for them.

Ubisoft games purchased on Steam do not require an activation key.
A digital license is pushed to your Ubisoft account when you launch the game in Steam for the first time, and link it to the Ubisoft account.
