Report a translation problem
In the quest window on the left that shows the quest. Click the quest and it will zero in on what the photo should be. Then there is a button in that quest window that says "Take photo." Click that and it will zoom in. use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move closer to the photo target while left clicking. When you have the correct photo it will take it.
just a small addition to what has already been said by others here:
When you have the right target in your sights, the frame of the camera changes. This way you can see whether you're taking the right photo, especially with ships it can happen that they drive you out of the photo area and you take the wrong photo.
