No wood in the New World
I'm playing the campaign for the first time, and just discovered the New World. I messed up on La Isla and I ran out of wood, I have no housing, and no warehouse. I can't seem to buy wood from any neighboring islands.

How do I fix this? Where do I get wood from?

I'll have to ship from the old world since none of the buildings I have left give me wood.

Thanks.

In the future, you can also use the free workforce from influence bonuses to put a logger and sawmill down by your trading post and let the wood trickle in for a bit.

The problem is that I had no workforce and could build any homes, so I had literally no workers.

you can just send a boat from the new world with timber.

The timber production chain in the new world doesn't require wood to be constructed.

whenever you start a settlement go 1 timber, 1 saw, 1 marketplace and 4 houses. I know it's tempting to start putting a lot of stuff around and far from the warehouse, but it's pretty easy to softlock the game without timber and people to create it in the early stage of a settlement
