multiplayer trading???

my friend has 75 schnapps and a sell order set. i need schnapps but when my ship goes to his port there is none for sale. he has no minimum stock set so why cant i buy it??

we are on a team so it dosnt give me the option. think we have to have a trade agreement.

yes you need trade agreement even if allies

Open up the diplomacy menu, the icons with two flag on the bottom left, then you'll figure it out from there

Maybe dumb question, but have you look in the options in diplomacy screen on the right of the counterparts picture, there are the contracts, on the left side are only “send gift” and so on.

yes, i think because we are on Team 1 from the start of the game we have an automatic alliance and trade rights. im able to trade some items...just not everything he needs or has for sale.

would that turn it from a coop win condition to versus? as it is now, we win when our global pop reaches 2500 investors. my friend is new so ill be amazed if he gets...well 1 investor

you should be in the same team, not same player, so you have different islands and colours, right?
maybe he has the lock option too high, so that you can't trade unless there are over 75 schnaps in his storage
