Is there any way I can play offline?
Whenever I go offline when I start the game it asks me to go online, sometimes I don't have internet and I want to play and I can't, is there any method to solve this?

As far as anybod6y can tell, the incomplete BETA version of Ubisoft Connect that has been forced on players in the last few months no longer has any way to play online. There have been multiple posts on Discord complaining about this. I strongly urge you to click the feedback button in Ubisoft Connect to demand its return

I did manage to play offline a couple months ago.
No idea if anything changed and I can't be bothered to check; the game will still try to launch the ubisoft client, just in offline mode so make sure you've got the client to save your credentials or whatever the client does, if there's even an option to.

Unfortunately, if you download Ubisoft Connect again for any reason, it auto-updates to a new version that has no off-line mode. Fortunately for you, it doesn't seem to auto-update (yet). I found this out the hard way.

As a test, I turned off my wi-fi and ran Anno 1800 from the desktop icon. It said Steam was offline then proceeded to load Ubisoft Connect. Ubisoft also said I was offline and asked if I wanted to play in offline mode. I said Yes, and everything ran fine.

Both Anno 1800 and Ubisoft Connect were downloaded and re-installed about 3 weeks ago, so I'm not sure why you can't play in offline mode as I've had no problem with it.

For me, when I have internet and it ends but the application started before it ended, I can play offline just like that. Now if I were to restart my computer or the application without internet and put ubisoft connect offline, I can't start it and it asks me to go online.

Same for me. I ran a similar test to Argenfarkle for wired internet (I don't have WiFi on this computer). The computer was already running. I disconnected the Ethernet plug from the computer. Then I launched the game from the desktop icon. Ubisoft Connect eventually launched. It told me I was offline and asked if I wanted to play offline. So far, so good. I said "Yes", and UC then told me that I had to login to play. So, I logged in. I can't remember the exact message, but it then told me that I had to have an online connection to play. So it looks like UC recognises it needs to go to offline mode, but the latest version doesn't have the mode.

There is a thread on Discord concerning this problem of not being able to go offline. People have been getting variable results, but it seems like there are a number of versions of the BETA program out there, which aren't auto-updating. One player used to be able to play offline, but no longer can. I haven't been able to get UC to go offline for several months.

The whole thing is a total shambles. It seems that the very latest version of UC doesn't support offline play in any way. There is a small feedback button in UC just to the left of the "Subscribe to Ubisoft+" button. I urge anybody who can no longer play offline to leave feedback using this button. We always used to be able to play offline, and should still be able to. There is nothing in the game description that says an Internet Connection is required to play.

BTW Not surprisingly, there has been no comment from Ubisoft Support on Discord for over two months. This is typical. As soon as any thread over there becomes critical of Ubisoft they either ignore it to shut it down.

They are making a big thing of Anno 117 at the moment. They might spend their time better letting us play the games that we already have.

It should be possible to launch the game in offline, ive done it multiple times before with no internet connection. It should prompt you on ubisoft connect and give you a couple of options when attempting to launch, one of those options should be like "Continue Offline" or "Go Offline". I did this recently a month or two ago.
