need help with cd key activation

bought the game on steam, was never given an activation key. On manage (right click game on library) there are no cd key options... What should I do?

I hit the same problem. Running in offline mode gets around it

Try quitting the Ubisoft launcher and then restarting the launch process for the game. I had the same problem. On the second start, no issues. no key asked for.

Same problem here but it doesnt ask for a key, it says that it cant autheticate the ownership of the game from my acc. Pls help!!

@Bas signing out of ubisoft connect, and signing back in fixes this problem for me

I signed on ubisoft connect after starting the game from steam. Then quit the game and ubisoft launcher and then steam. Restart it all and it should work.

I just refunded this crap due to that. I'm sure it's a decent game but I have plenty of other options without Ubi sticking their entire hand right up my ***.

I just wanted to try the game out... but no, first create a Ubi Connect account, and then when all that crap is sorted it asks for ****ing activation key, which people say you can get by linking your Uplay account (another account?!?!) to Steam. Nah, not worth it for these scumbags.

Yes I ended up getting the refund as well. Still tried to go on their support, but the AI support drove me nuts
