I failed sunken treasure quest line from the start anything important?

Did I miss anything important, idc abt the story I care about the items that I lost . Crown falls was Conquered. So do I lose any important items , schematics for building… and I can I get the quest line back if I reclaim it , I lost it a few in game hours ago so don’t really wanna start over if I did .

If i remember correctly there were 2 nice items that you get for completing the quest, one habour master (+100% loading speed) and one guy for the town hall (-100% coffee consumption).

If Crown Falls gets conquered, you cannot get the quest back.

Just wondering, how did it happen that you got Crown Falls conquered? I know the AI tends to freak out sometimes and go rambo on you. Was that one of those situations? Anything to be careful of? I'm currently making Crown Falls my capital. Should I build a ton of battleships before I advance this questline?

It's never happened to me, but I have read other people saying that if they are against a particularly aggressive opponent, that opponent can have built up a sizeable fleet before you get there. As soon as you put the Trading Post down, they attach before you have a chance to build up any defences.
