After completing building the Worlds Fair it appears that I need to get 10,000 investors in order to plan the area that I want (according to the screenshots)
If I played for one hundred hours I would not get 10,000 investors.
My example is I played for eight hours today and I only got to 1,729 investors.
There must be a faster and more efficient way to get the number of investors so I can continue with the Worlds Fair. Please Help.

Do you know the raw ID for steam turbine?
Can you tell me any other ways that I can get to 10,000 investors more efficiently (faster)?
you should concentrate on filling all your investors need, luxuries and lifestyle goods. make sure they have every single one including the ones from new world set up trade ships to import them.
more investors will move in the more needs they have. you have to select lifestyle button and activate the ones in there including mail.
if you have mail make sure to import mail from the new world with a post office on the island there this turns into overseas mail that adds a lot of investors. also enable local mail regional mail is a lot harder to maintain i usually don't bother with that also i usually only have 2 population islands to maintain i use commute docks/blimps for the rest.
you need a post office on both islands in NW and OW for it to work properly you also need blimps the smallest one is good enough.
tl;dr: the more goods you provide them the more will move in.
I'm just playing the default game . I don't have any DLC's .so I have to make do with what I have.
Surely, I would not need to buy DLC's in order to progress with default game. That is correct, isn't it?
Firstly, I'm concerned about actually how long it will take me to get from about 2,724 investors to 10,000 and the whole process appears pretty bleak...............I'm not sure if I could do that in another 29 hours of game play as it took me nearly 10 hours just to reach around 2,724
I'm not seeing any major advancements going on in any of the Islands that I own. There is limited space left.
So, as far as new advancements I cashed in on what I had and that phased out about the last eight or so hours ago of game play.
In other words there are currently no new buildings or stuff that I haven't already cashed in on a long time ago.
I have everything that money can buy in Anno 1800 but it is looking like:
This simply is not enough.. Well how can it not be enough?
This island below has about 9k investors (~1800 on another), although it's using some skyscrapers. Doing a quick count it's about 120 investor buildings, and at 50 pop each that's 6K investors (and then I could afford spreading out more to upgrade buildings). You don't even have to supply every good, like steam carriages. Just ramp up production of everything you need.
Edit: Also check the NPCs like Eli for good items they might be selling. Some satisfy certain goods for your people or boost production, extra goods, etc. It can be quite nice.
Also I went and looked at one of your pictures. Seems like the AI has taken over all islands in the old world? That's going to be a big limiting factor for you getting any kind of raw resources or moving industry.
