But to answer your question, I started playing day one, over four years ago, and so have pretty much paid full price for everything with a few exceptions here and there during sales, and such.
I've played 2,152 hours. My opinion: worth it.
But, understand that's no guarantee you'll enjoy it. You may not have the same tastes as I do. But, there are people out there that really like the game having paid that much. And, as others have mentioned, you can pay even less.
I had a game with all DLC on Ubisoft. (Reason I had game on Ubisoft is support, I only need to deal with one support team, not 2 support team, if you buy on steam, you might end up work with 2, steam support and Ubisoft Support, that is too much work. Game on Ubisoft, only had one deal with one Ubisoft support, but there is flaw about policy if player might not be on UBisoft long time, and they might had a right to removed/closed account, but I'm not sure it's only apply to Euro but not apply to American depend on law and policy. Even you buy game on steam that made from Ubisoft, there is some case people can't play ubisoft game on steam when they had not play game long time for while, and trouble try to connect Ubisoft in order to play game, even offline and single player. Idk.
What I understand that once you paid something on Ubisoft, they do said they wouldn't closed it, but again it's depend on who and where Ubisoft are from, if american or Euro or other place that had a different rule, law and policy.
