Maybe Satisfactory or X4's building part
Fantasy and magic (no spell casting though)
Logistics, production and needs.
No skills or individual traits among the colonists.
But no combat and the sessions are only about 3 hours long. It does have an overmap and a campaign though.
for my taste. I did go and find two medieval-type builders, Farthest Frontier
and Settlement Survival. I may try one of those.
Yes, no idea why they brought that up. 2070 is a great game, but not what you are looking for.
It’s set in a fictional Europe-like world and has gameplay very similar to the Anno games (both series are also published by Ubisoft).
The most recent one - Settlers: New Allies - which came out this year didn’t get very great reviews; however, if you don’t mind older graphics Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom was pretty good but it caught a lot of flak on release for having a persistent online connection DRM (which has since been removed).
Grand Ages: Medieval also may be worth a look. It’s not necessarily alike to Anno, but it features a lot of the same beats: resource management, production, settlement building, trade, and combat.
