I can't load mods and other issue.
Nothing worked for me,I can't seem to load them. Delete dll files, replace them, verified/ re-download them. Installing them manually/ with 'mod manager'...

I wasn't able to load/activate mods since the update.

Oh yeah, another thing. I need to manually delete the 'Documents\Anno 1800' folder every-time I want to launch the game.Because the game can't seem to load the shaders from the previous start (like from yesterday.)

"[14:39:50][2012][ NOTICE] rd3d::CShaderManager::InitDirectories: Using precompiled shader path: 'C:/Users/Breach/Documents/Anno 1800/shaders/'

[14:39:50][10288][ ERROR] rdsdk::CLogger::TraceLastError: Failed to open file data/shaders/fx/terrain_tundra.fx failed with error 3: The system cannot find the path specified.

[14:39:53][10288][ ERROR] rdsdk::CLogger::TraceLastError: Failed to open file data/shaders/fx/terrain_tundra.fx failed with error 3: The system cannot find the path specified."

“Brand new” game, download/install from Steam, first run worked fine, second run-crash with the message above.

Hey,

Go to your mods file folder in your steam games drive and make sure that your mod folders (usually are delineated with a "[name]") have no other characters like a "-" in front of the first "[". Also make sure modmanger is completely removed from you computer.

I betting that 1 of the the mods u r using is crashing the game. Not all mods have been modified to run with the new version of Anno 1800.

This is confusing. What is the name and location of the mod manager file(s)? Does this refer to two .dll files that once replaced others of the same name? If I delete them, isn't other functionality lost? Fortunately, I didn't delete the originals, but renamed them, so I could delete the replacements and put the originals back to their original names. Should I do that? But then they won't be up to date with the current version of the game. Why won't that be a problem, too?

I just used the repair funtion on steam. 2 Reasons first i didn´t save the .dll and second i
don´t know if the update had newer versions of them.

The python35.dll needs to be deleted.
Rename the python35_ubi.dll to python35.dll

The python35_ubi.dll is nothing more than a backup of the vanilla

What I did after trying various solutions was, copy the mods folder to my desktop and leave the game's mods folder empty, then put the mods in groups of 2, and load the game, so that it would not "stress" "A lot when loading so much content at once, it is also useful to know which mod is causing problems, in my case it was Rockefeller Dream MU.
Greetings, I hope it helps.
