Expedition goods
There is a skill bonus for bringing 50t of a good on expeditions.
If I load less than 50t of a good on an expedition, the green checkmark on Navigation, Diplomacy etc. still appears. Is this a bug, or do I really get the skill bonus?

If I lose goods during the voyage so I have less than 50t left, does the skill bonus dissappear for the rest of the voyage?

The skill bonus doesn't disappear, but it does diminish.

For example, I usually carry 50 tons of Champagne for both food (it's a happy expedition) and it provides 30 points of Diplomacy. As Champagne gets consumed after each event, I start getting only 27 points of Diplomacy or 25, etc.

So that also answers your first question. The check mark is still there because they are providing bonuses, even if it isn't the peak amount.

if you don't have the good when a decision comes up needing that skill you won't be able to solve it via that method if you don't have any of the good left. the checks on the skills just mean you can do those with what's available on the ship. each 10 usually gives a morale bonus to the ship but if you don't need it then don't send a full cargo hold
