Land of Lions advice.
.............and to a degree, all the DLCs, since I've now bought Season 3 and 4.

I'm revisiting the game after 3 years. I played it for hours and hours at that time, due to being at home because of Covid.

My plan was to have Crown Falls fully populated by Investors, a huge palace(which is all laid out, just with sections left to build when population allows. The whole thing to be powered by Gas from the Arctic, and to get it as beautiful as possible. It currently has attractiveness of 14500, with complete Museum and Botanical(though I think there's now a Land of Lions section - in museum at least anyway). Also has World Fair.

My question is, before I finish it(there's still quite an area to build up, although it's all laid out with Town halls and Gas Powered stations ready to go up) - would I be wise to incorporate/do the DLC to build into Crown Falls?

I believe there's Researchers category from Land of Lions, and I don't know about the other stuff. I've been asked to upgrade the visitor piers to tourist piers. I know I worked out at the time what population I needed to get the Palace I want, but those calculations are long gone, so I'll have to do it again. My plan was to fully support Crown Falls from everywhere else. This has now become somewhat easier, due to the extra islands in New World.

The amount of stuff needed is just enormous, and it's really going to take some working out what is what, but I want to do it, get it where I want, and have everyone getting 100% of everything. That is my goal.

So do I achieve that, then do the DLCs, or Do I do all the DLCs and incorporate them into my plan. I'm personally thinking the later.

Imo it's important to do the Land of Lions quest, just to get access to the resarch institute.
But keep in mind, that's a huge project, you'll need a large population of Scholars.
I know it's recommended to settle the Scholars on their own island. But personally I don't like this idea, I have built my research institute and scholars campus all on Crown Falls. For me it works well, but I'm not a record builder, going more for aesthetics than for population numbers.
But anyway, get the Enbesa quest / research institute asap, you won't regret it.

Thanks Lumina.

That was the answer I was hoping for.

I did send a ship to do Land of Lions quest, and it's actually at the end - I just didn't click the last thing when it's at the canal

Everything is running just fine, so I can devote my time to it.

When you finally settle L of L region you will be asked to aid in the unification of the outlying islands. This "quest" is, IMUHO, extremely extensive, ridiculously time consuming and completely not necessary. I have yet to see any benefit to completing it. You can and should ask around the net and decide for yourself before committing to it.
But, yes you should settle Enbesa the area is interesting and the islands can be developed into very attractive settlements.

If you want to fulfill all investor needs (including lifestyle needs), you‘ll need to produce tapestries in enbesa.
The research institute and the grand gallery will be very helpful to provide you strong items that will decrease the needs (town hall items) and increase production (trade union items). The tourist buildings (cafe, restaurant, iron tower) and the malls will also be very helpful to decrease certain needs (like to be seen in the picture below my skyline tower has nearly all decrease buffs).

Thanks.

I have some insane production going on - like 21 Lamp factories on this island, running at 300%.

I stopped playing this before Land of Lions came out though. It does have Bright harvest running, so there's crazy Coffee, Chocolate and other plantations going on - but now I can even have more islands. I will include all DLC into this game now.

Thanks for the advice.
