Please Ubi, remove Denuvo, it is a total deal breaker for me, I would love to buy Anno 1800 and play it, I own regular 1602, 1701, 2070, 1404 and the history editions for 1602, 1701 and 1404; I would even buy it full price, complete year 4, I don't care, but I will definitely not buy it until Denuvo isn't removed.
I can't buy a game that if something happens to my internet connection I can't play anymore, or that if support ceases I just lose. Once I buy the game, I should have the right to own it and play it forever no matter what.

You can play this game in offline mode. I've done it when my internet's been down.

Denuvo doesn't stop you from playing offline, it only checks in online once in a while and can be offline for weeks at a time.

2 weeks and it's gone forever unless you connect again. To put things into prospective I bought my first Anno game (1602) in 1999 and I still have the cd and still play to this day, I could be on vacation without internet access, moving, getting a new isp, anything, and I just play with it, because I bought it. And that's how it should be.
