Specialist Issue???

I have just recently got into the game and started playing around with trade union specialists. I just realized that if I install specialists to change the input to a building, the raw resources have to route through a warehouse. For example, if I use the specialist that allows bakeries to process grain, the grain has to go to a warehouse first. Is this normal? It is kind of screwing around with my warehouse load ramp capacities.

Are your grain fields in the range of the bakeries?

Yes, they are literally walking past the bakeries to get to the warehouses. the same issue with the soap maker specialist that allows you to input wood instead of tallow.

Totally normal , before the research institute ,somes specialists very usefull were very rare and difficult to found ...
So when you found one you must make the trade union the more efficient possible ......
