Only the farm building, itself, has to be inside the Hazienda's influence radius, by the way, so creatively puzzling with fields can allow you to build a whole lot of farms per Hacienda.
They can also be affected by

Dung
Trade union items
Making them veary strong

Hacienda farms are straight-up better than normal farms.
Hacienda houses are worse than normal houses, since you need additional production for them.
Hacienda breweries are usually more efficient than standard brewery/rum distillery (not schnapps distillery), but also reduces attractiveness of an island.
I wonder if I now should grow old world crops in the new world and import it to the old world 😱😎. I thought there must be a downside but it does not seem so.
I know it's from 2023 but why would it be better to ask the same question in a new discussion?
