Anno not working - failed to synchronize cloud saves
I have a problem with Anno
During starting the game, it is not working.
it appears comment "Your local save game file is not in sync with the data on the cloud. Please choose which file to use.
- Local save game
- Cloud save game

if i click continue, it appears "failed to synchronize cloud saves"

i try uinstall game

this is an easy fix, just resync cloud saves

How do you expect to "resync cloud saves" if you have NEVER played the game before? Very first launch after fresh installation so there is no existing save game, and yet the error pops up.
Ubisoft support is terrible and very frustrating!
Every response is from a new person who does not understand your issue and only follows scripted instructions, so they only know to send you to their help articles, and they ask you to do the same thing over and over. Their responses are in mixed language, French, English, and at one point even in Polish!!!!
I believe the issue may be on my Account itself (because I reproduced it on 3 separate machines) but I was never able to get past their basic support and get someone to pass my case over higher level tech/programmer.

Hey there.

Sorry to hear it you have issues syncing cloud saves in Anno 1800.
There should not be an issue with your account, preventing you from playing the game, especially if you never played it before.

Try disabling the cloud save functionality in Ubisoft Connect, play the game for a while, create a save and try to synchronise it then.

• In Ubisoft Connect in the top left corner, select your profile.
• Go to the "Settings" tab.
• In the General section, next to "Enable cloud save synchronisation for supported games", untick the box.
