How to attract 100 farmers?
Hey, I'm playing the campaign and the quest tells me to attract 100 farmers. Mine is stuck at 96. The game doesn't do a good job of explaining how to play or how to do certain tasks so can I get some help ?

Build more houses for them

Click on a few of their houses to see if their needs are being met, or as tommytza says build a few more hosues. Having needs met will increase the amount of people per house.

Ok I'll try building houses first. As for needs, since it is a campaign mission certain things aren't available at the time so not sure if I can meet them.

edit :
Ok houses were the issue. That's dumb of me, when I check the houses, I see that they aren't full so I'm expecting them to be full capacity first so that I build more. XD

Houses get full when you fullfill all the requirements, fish, clothes etc.

Yeah, it could do a better job of showing the current limit. I keep looking at my worker houses wondering HTF to get to 45 when they hold 10, but if I had all the lifestyle needs unlocked and fulfilled it would probably fill it.

Hello,
The campaing was a kind of tutoriel , BUT if you are playing with the three AI given by the UI...
I advice you to check up to see that you have 3 AI one star ....
theses 3 AI are : Bente , the princess and Willie.
if not close your game and open a new game with only 3 AI one star for your campaing...
I think you'll thank me later ^^'
Ps : i got alls the achievements so i know about i said...

That's not dumb of you. I've been having the same problem (on PS5, currently,) and the game tells you to build 10 farmer's houses and going above and beyond what the tutorial instructs should not be a strict requirement to progress. Furthermore, the farmer houses, as I understand, have a base population of 10 people with the potential to reach 25 if all needs are met. If base population per house is 10, and the game had us build 10 houses, the safe assumption is that you have room for a minimum of 100 people with no issues.

I honestly think Ubisoft made a mistake in programming the tutorial and then just never bothered to fix it. If they actually do rigorous playtesting (I don't believe they do,) then the devs gave no thought to how it might feel to play the game as someone who didn't literally make the game. The "curse of knowledge" at work.

It's also just a pretty bad and kind of lazy tutorial, not explaining the most basic controls and functionality to achieve the goals they set out for us.

Alternatively to watching videos, you can also just ask on here.

Its really not that hard once you understand how the game is suppose to be played. If you have any sort of brain and like to figure things out it wont take long before you get this games "meta" (which is extremely addictive)

3 years later, thanks for this. The game doesn't explain this AT ALL. I was just waiting for them to fill up, because why would I build houses if there's still space...
