Which Edition To Buy?
I have never played an Anno game before, but I have played games like Civ 6 and really enjoy them. Do you think I would enjoy this game? If so, what edition should I buy since they are on sale.

Complete Edition is good deal, I played 1,700 hours on ubisoft, I had all DLC. almost all DLC is worth, I don't want to play without DLC, but base game is good, little harder, but with DLC, it's make game little easier but so much to do, lot of hours to play.

Civ 6 and Anno is not same thing.

Anno is more forced on manage product goods to met need of your citizen, and building village to city with limited navy combat and air combat if you had empire of skies dlc (that is in complete edition! is why I recommand complete edition)

The DLCs are great they add tons of stuff to the base game and last easily many hours
I however would recommend you to play a couple of games first without any DLCs and to then slowly start adding them once you get used to the main game otherwise you will get very overwhelmed

Major DLC, Yes, 1, 2, 3, 4 season gameplay DLC, but not those candy looking DLC, I think. Complete had everything "gameplay" DLC

I don't recommand that, because there is no sale on each DLC on steam right now, they didn't gave any sale to any DLC to those who already owner of base game. There is base game owner wasn't happy (who pre order more than 3 year ago before ubisoft pull amazing game from steam for bad deal (for common people)

is the complete edition include decorative packs?
if I read the description in ubisoft / epic, it said includes 4 seasons + deluxe. no mention for decorative pack

No, cosmetic DLC are not part of it, only "gameplay" DLC are part of it. Any Season that had 3 major DLC are gameplay DLC, but cosmetic DLC are never part of season.

Cosmetic DLC is nice to had, better wait on sale, but for now, Complete Edition is very good deal, Each Season cost $25 at time, while base game cost $60, so it's would be $160 for base game plus 1, 2, 3 and 4 seasons without sales at a time without cosmetic DLC. Right now, it's only $60 for all base game, 1, 2, 3 and 4 season without cosmetic DLC. Of course it's cost more than $160 if with cosmetic, it's could be $200, for sale, I guess it's would be $100 if 50% off. But cometic DLC are not need, it's for those who like to make city look more beautiful but I had all DLC and cometic, I mean everything, and very few/rare I use cometic DLC, you don't need it, unless you want to make city look beautiful but that is not importain, gameplay is important because well, gameplay itself! Those Season DLC is gameplay, new map, new way to play.

I have bought this game back in 2019 on uPlay because I was looking forward to the game since it's launch. Personally, I like strategy open sandbox games, and this game defines that genre. It's a master piece IMO. I wouldn't buy the DLCs right away unless you enjoy those type of games. If your just casually playing them, you could just buy the base game, and wait for another sale and get the DLCs incrementally if you end you liking the game.
