First post in german support forum confirms it, DLC won't show up as owned in Steam but will work.
To the OP: It most likely requires you to have u-play installed; then once the game unlocks in steam, it doesn't care what you have on uplay.
EA and Origin are pretty much the same thing. So most likely, no. If you're determined to buy the game on steam, buy the base game and see what happens - you can always ask for a refund.
Teste ich grade, geb mir 5-10 minuten
VIELEN LIEBEN DANK!!! :-)
@Caduryn:
Noch nicht oder nicht offiziell! :-P
Es ist erstaunlich, welche Spiele die kleine Wunderkiste mit eine paar Einstellungen so alles über Steam abspielt! :D
12 Minuten her.

(and AVAILABLE when starting the game via Steam)
....
After downloading and installing Anno 1800 from steam, the ubisoft launcher opens and ask to connect accounts.
I did connect my steam account to my U-play/Ubisoft account (the account where i previously owned anno 1800 on).
All the OTHER DLC which i owned previously on u-play/ubisoft are now AVAILABLE
in game (started via steam).
So yes: you do NOT have to buy all the DLC again. I am not sure on how to go about the base game but the DLCs (which i did not buy on steam but previously on Ubisoft) are now available when starting the game via steam.
However they do not show up as bought in steam store page or libary, BUT yes you can access them.
At least I can.
So i made a negative 5-6 Euro (base game, deluxe pack and season 4 if buyed individually add up to ~55€ while the year 4 complete pack i bought costed 60€) figuring this out...
.... so plz give me some steam rewards
Yea, i was sure it worked, i dont understand this part though, did you buy ONLY the basegame for 19€ or the one for 60??
He bought the Complete Edition.
I'm in-game right now and it still recognizes all of my purchased DLC.
