So it's finally here again.
3 years. It's the 4 years edition for $59.99 even worth it? I will buy the game before it's remove again. But I would like to know what is the best quality-price version.

Wait for the Wintersale in a couple of weeks.
Personaly i realy want this game but as long as its coupled with the Ubisoft malware i wont spend more then 20 euros on it. And thats for the game and all the DLC's.
(without the ubisoft malware i might buy it for the current price)

That's while it's on sale, they want 120 for this at the regular, a 4 year old game they originally pulled and now come crawling back here, pfft

It is -50% (CDN$ 79.99) right now, for the Deluxe Edition, the complete collection, will it go lower?
I like Anno but not sure if content/money is worth it.
That is not even including they are releasing it so late on Steam.

If I am not wrong, I don't think it will be on sale for the winter sale when it's on sale from now until the 22nd, it may be wrong.

It's a good game. The DLC are worth it. But, seeing Ubisoft crawling back to Steam again after trying to make the PC game industry something exclusive to only one platform (their platform or Epic Platform) make me want to boycott them.

It's rumored now that the game's cycle of 4 years has ended is the sole reason they came back to steam. Same goes for Valhalla, and probably Far Cry 6 in the near future.

Just wondering if their new games will walk the same path, hope not.
Also wondering how well the games sell after 4 years due to steam.

Actually it's first time, since only pre-orders were honored. Day 1 sale did not happen.

True, but there is also no more content coming for valhalla.

Anno 1800 is a great game. I've pass hundred of hours on it. But Ubisoft is pretty meh ... A lot of DLCs at crazy price, micro-transactions ingame (look at steep), impossible to play in singleplayer or offline in some of their games (steep again). But be carefull, some DLCs from Anno 1800 are pretty bad (like the anarchist one). Best is to wait than the last season pass is in sales to grab everything in one go.

Don't compare Anno 1800 & Valhalla, not the same game, not the same devs. Anno is a nice game where Valhalla is a crap game.

Why is Ubisoft launcher more of a malware than Steam?

Just a question out of principle. You're entitled to your opinion of course :)

I decided to open Epic launcher to see if Valve's games are on their platform, and just realized it's thursday and new free game offers :D: :P

It's bloatware, malware is the wrong word.
