Worth it in 2022?
I'm big into city builders l, Tropico, Farthest Frontier etc.. I played an older Anno before but it got taken off steam... I was thinking of getting this one? Is it worth it?

Yes

It's probably the best city builder atm just make sure to remove the pirates and rival AI so you can sandbox.

Off sale they are asking 120 bucks for this, a 4 year old game next year, that doesn't do much new compared to previous titles. If that's not a bad value for money then AAA industry is truly corrupted everyone by now.

totally worth it , as six said turn off rival ai and pirates if u wanna start slow and learn, then you will pretty much have to supply everything as more or less no-one else to trade with, bear in mind a lot of the achievements (if you care about those) are only unlockable in the story mode (story mode turns to sandbox after completion, but all the ai`s and pirates will still remain) most important of all dont rush, so tempting to get to the next level of citizens for more income but if you are not ready you will be rushing about each island trying to fix things, i reccomend "taka" and "republic of play" on youtube for help and support :)

Yes, but as a person who bought pre-order, I recommend to wait for xmas discount. Get it with dlc bundle!

Yes, Anno is worth it. But try to take a package who offer you all the DLCs with the game at a low price. Because those DLCs are pretty expensive and not all of them are worth it.

Yes, it's the best city building game in a long, long time.

Unless you are looking for a more compact or "survival" experience, in which case I'd recommend Against the Storm.

But, for anything else, Anno 1800 is the choice.

i agree too, possibly the best city builder out there

its my fav anno game of the series so I would say yes it's worth it but you have to decide how much it's worth to you. I find the pricing to be steep in terms of games but you can put hundreds of hours into which makes spending an extra $20-$30 negligible.

I bought the complete edition in the beginning of the year and it included ALL the DLCs release until Year 4.

YES, bought this before it was removed from Steam, I kept buying the season passes because the content was good imo. It is legit a great Anno title!
