Exhausted jornaleros quest
The challenge is to find three "exhausted jornaleros" in a cornfield who are too hard-working to take a break. They are nearly invisible, hidden by the waving crop. I got lucky and found two of them quickly because they were by the fence bordering the fields, but the third is eluding me. I tried deleting all the fields in the area where he is supposed to be located, but that doesn't help. Perhaps deleting a field also immediately deletes anyone working in it.

Can anyone offer some assistance on how to fulfill this quest? Thank goodness, most quests of this nature are much easier than in Anno 1404, where they are a major annoyance and waste of time, but I don't think I've ever succeeded at this particular one.

Jornaleros usually try dig on ground hidden along the field in the tree, try to use quest marker, and click quest marker, it's will lead to that area.

I often have trouble with this quest, too. The Exhausted Workers can be on the other side of a river, for example, if your field borders a river. They can be on a road. It can be crazy.

Sometimes you have to look a little bit away from the fields to actually find them.

Correct. I drove myself crazy several times with this quest until I realized they are NOT always in the cornfields. Look all around -- they are easy to spot once you recognize them -- they are just a little different looking then the rest of the population.

Zoom all the way out and then move your cursor over the area and it will turn into a hand and grab them at this point. You can cover a lot of area this way and its fast. Look in the areas listed in this post as well as the fields.

As tip for this “search” quests, Sometimes it helps: zoom. to see quest panel to the left click in the “arrow” icon, the camera often will move close where the target is.

Sometimes it helps sometimes it is still tricky to find the target.

And here most of these are easy, I remember in Anno 2070 some of these missions that were more difficult and painful.

That's why you need to zoom first, and like others commented the targets might be where you didn’t think but #going to the quest” may do it sometimes very easy.

Also may work for some picture missions BTW sometimes is no clear what is the thing they want to take.

And actually here those "search" missions are very easy, like perm and i commented in other Annos they were much trickier

Thank you, the one remaining dude was indeed on the other side of the river. Your suggestion saved me alot of time.
