How do you copy and save blueprints?
I mean, the way Factorio does it. I.e. you make a blueprint, then save it for future playthroughs so you don't have to keep manually putting everything down.

If for some odd reason this feature is not in the game then.....well it should be put in? With the first DLC to come in Season 4, perhaps. This is a massive QoL that should be part of pretty much every city management game.

On the lower right hand side of construction icon bar is an outline of a house...this is the blueprint on/off button. When ON it allows you to place houses, building, factories, etc so you can move things around without expending the construction cost and materials. These structures will be shaded blue. There is no need to "make a blueprint". When your happy with your blueprint layout you can then click on them to make them permanent structure. Click the blueprint mode off to return to normal placement mode.
I your talking about constructing a particular layout that you want to use repeatedly maybe on another island then no you can't do that but you can COPY it somewhere else on the same island.

You can copy with the little pip/copy tool off the wheel also, but that requires laying the blueprint out.

You can also pip/copy from any island in the same region.

Your absolutely right you can copy to another island in the same region. Learn something new everyday. I didn't think you could. Thanks!
