Anno 1800
New world map size
Is it always the same, regardless of your original old world map size? The same goes for the Arctic, Cape Trelawney and Enbesa. My OW map is standard, so I wonder if starting a new game on a small map will change the new world as well, and decrease my overall production cap as a result.

If you play the game with the same settings each time. the maps will always be similar in all worlds. Start a new game and change up all the settings and see what happens in the other worlds as well as the Old World.

Good Luck and have fun exploring.
Some, there's a bit of an exception in that Cape Trelawney at least will always have the large mainland one but I think with a smaller map size there's less islands alongside it? Not 100% sure on that but the main one will always be the same in that one.

The new world doesn't seem any bigger, the Arctic is the same, Cape Trelawney too. Haven't visited Enbesa in my last playthrough, but something tells me that it's the same too. The only map that got bigger was the Old World one.
Source: 100 hours in a "large size" world compared to my previous game in a "medium size" world.
