Uplay was unable to send invite

Trying to invite friend to my game but I'm getting this message, the hell Ubisoft, this better not be because it's on steam.

We have the same problem on Uplay as well now. Also login to Ubisoft Club doesn't work properly. Have to assume it's something on the server side, was working fine yesterday.

I have the same issue as well with my friends. :X

I hope they fix this ASAP would be annoying to have to start a new game every time.

Edit: Partial fix maybe? I guess you need to be friends on both steam and uplay and i completely disregarded the re-invite button and just used the uplay game overlay to invite and 1 of my friends got in.

just found a fix with my friend,

host:go in the lobby, switch the game to public.

friend: join the game through the uplay's 'join game' button

button is - (Uplay>Games>Anno1800 in the window 'friends playing this game right now'

same problem also when hosting a new multiplayer game .still cant invite people uplay cant send invite .

Yes, just now. We have been experiencing this problem several times.

We have the same issue.
We would start again our saved game from last night and now my friend cannot join throught invites.

i've activated the game on uplay, and he bought it on steam.
so ifi invite him, he doesnt get any invitation.

but yesterday, as we started the game, with a new session, my both friends got invitations.
But now, nothing :-(

Also having thsi problem. Our solution -> host opens game. Friend does NOT launch the game. Than the invite will happen. and by clicking on the invite the game launches directly to the multiplayer session

found the solution to my issue, was trying to invite my friends ubisoft account, instead of their steam account.

Just to play Thread-Necro here, just happend to me for the first time - didnt change anything and it was working for month before. I've tried to do that in the past days, but no success. There is option on how to invite someone - I just load the save and click on "invite .. again"
