Is it possible to get a steam key now ?
Hi,

Can it be possible to buy a key for steam, or gift key ?
Don't want to have it on a garbage launcher!
Thanks!

There aren't any Steam keys though, only Uplay.
You believe that Anno got into the top seller list at the day of the exclusivity announcement because people didnt care?
It went straight from place 40+ to number 1 in several countries and on the global list to 4.
I can tell you right away, there were people buying keys to sell them later for a much higher price on keyresellers. As obviously the price goes up and up and up as there is only a limited amount of steam keys for the game now.
Its no timed exclusive, so you can imagine how much a steam key is worth from now on.

To give an answer to OP, you can try to get a key from other sites. The longer you wait, the less likely it will be you get one and the less likely you pay a low price for it. But it will still be hard to find people selling keys for the game. Anno is a risky investment.

I have seen steam gifts being sold on a couple of the known key-seller-sites. If this is legit/working or still available i don't know.

I'd get it through uplay if you still want it, you'll have to use the uplay launcher to play it anyway

everyone should be carefull with keyseller sites, a bunch of keys from such sides just recently got deactivated for metro exodus because they were stolen.

then you have to contact the site you bought the key from in order to demand a refund you may or may not get.

i personally would not recommend to buy on a key seller site unless it is a official supported one.

There are no steam keys out there for this game. Any site that does has a high risk of getting your game revoked later anyway. The only 3rd party reseller sites that are legal will sell you Uplay keys.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, there are no Steam keys for Ubisoft games.

Lost money?
That site is unlegit anyway and you are risking something that already happened on a large scale with other Ubisoft games :

key revocation
