Great Ubisoft, you did it again.

I played the closed beta and bought the Deluxe Edition on Steam right away.

Now there are again those stupid Uplay Rewards, like chess tables for playing the open beta.


So I bought the game full price (I preordered), played the closed beta but now missing a building (chess tables) because I didnt play the open beta days before the game launched?

I got ubisofted again. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell..

The minor task was to start the OPEN Beta once. Thats it.
Hey Ubisoft deserves a lot of flag for the ♥♥♥♥♥ they often do, but this was your stupidity not theirs.

So let me get this right, you are complaning about you did not get a free building, that you did not pay for, but was an extra thing for playing the beta.

Preordered.

Now missing a building because Ubisoft likes to rip stuff out of games and give it to players for some time restricted stuff, like playing the open beta a few days before the game releases.


What about getting a full game with everything since I bought the Deluxe?
You know where you get everything? As a pirate.

"Will there be a reward for participating in the OPEN Beta?
Yes [...] Open Beta Participants will unlock the exclusive Chess Ornament for the full version of Anno 1800, which you can redeem via Ubisoft Club after the games release. All that you have to do, is to start the game once at any point during the OPEN Beta phase."

So if you want it, do what you need to do or dont and accept that. You are insulting people for your own failure.

Was super annoying to download temporary it on Uplay to get an item after I spend 70€ for the deluxe edition on steam. I had no interest to play the beta, I knew already that I want the game.

I know that open beta is different then closed beta.

I just hate the fact, that I'm now missing something from my brand new game forever just because Ubisoft is always pulling of these dickmoves.

I PAID for this game, I want the developers to get money so they can make even better Anno games. But Ubisoft is teaching me again and again to pirate their ♥♥♥♥, because pirating gets me a complete game with all DLC, uplay rewards and other ♥♥♥♥.

yeah thats a different story though. And for me its a bit akin to Kickstarter Ingame Content Rewards (not paid ones) that are only available when you participated in Kickstarter.
Well, i dont mind it that much.
And in fact i think at one point they will unlock the reward for all anyway.

Seriusly stop being a drama queen.
First of all you will properly be able to buy it for coins or what ever at somepoint, 2nd if you just bought the game and did not preorder you would also "miss out" on things. It does not make your game incomplete. You got your game, you got what you payed for. What you did not get was something extra and yes that sucks, but cmon.

It's a single ornament reskin. You should refund the game - it'll be unplayable without it.

The only dickmove is that you can not read at all.

OPEN beta ... enough said. 2 single words to read and understand and you failed to do so and now blame the publisher of the game?

What the hell is wrong with you?

It's like in my city where you can give your public transportation card to a family member ONLY ON SUNDAY that he/she can use the publics for free. If you do so on Saturday and they check you, you have to pay 60€ fine.

Don't blame the devs or publisher. Blame yourself for not reading properly and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up.

PS: You would play the closed and open beta because they changed stuff and improved the performance a LOT. The closed beta was okayish on Ryzen system and i was thinking about getting the game. The open beta and final version got a decent improvement and so i bought it.

Yes, ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft they released open beta for Trials Rising here on Steam and I waited for their stupid open beta to arrive and it never did. Only learned that it was on uplay for 2 weeks yesterday.
