Anno 1800 Will not launch! Resolved

So, I cant get Anno 1800 to launch, this is even after uninstalling and reinstalling.

It opens the box "Preparing to launch Anno 1800" Closes a few seconds later, and then nothing.

Any advise? Missing MFplat.dll

you need to wait few hours it always release at 19h GMT +1 for me.

Attempted to run in administrator mode.

"MFPlat.DLL" is missing. dont haven that problem w/ any other game.

i am stuck at uplay login screen ... been trying since launch ... it says service unavailable.
IDK what to do !!

I cant evn make an account with UPLAY! so cant play game stuck at uplay login screen which wont accept my username and password. Also never sent an email notification to activate account either? In the process of a refund now so GL guys!

Oh boy did the uplay service crash due to number of users online.

Try to use Anno1800.exe in Anno1800/bin/win64 folder

I had a similar issue when I started it from steam for the first time. I restarted my computer and made sure that Uplay was open and logged in. That seamed to fix it for me.
