Patrol sytem

Anyone had figure out how the ship patrol system work ? My boat do the patrol one time and after they stop and stay in place.

I haven't tried in this game, but in some other games to make a patrol route you have to end where you started, in order for it to repeat. i.e. if you want to patrol between two points, you define three points a --> b -->a'

Shift right click multiple points on minimap. It's not an infinite patrol obviously but, that's what I use to get my ship to explore the map

It seem to be in patrol mod left click and after right click to an infinite loop patrol. But it's very weird because some time my group of war boat stop at one point... I'm confuse... Maybe it's because it's a select group ? And some time it's work, other times not. It's frustrating. It was easy in Anno 1404.
