What DID you like about anno 2205?
Not here to cause a flame war so if you're just gonna hate on 2205 because you're incapable of change, just don't comment. If you have genuine complaints, it's fine, just don't be a child.

That being said. I actually liked it. It wasn't as fun as the other ones, I missed the competition on the same map or the ability to actually do a ''race'' as to who gets where the first, but.

What I did like was how every island interacted with each other and basically became part of your main island through bridges.

I also enjoyed the different regions that took different strategies.

And the biggest convenience thing it had is that it easily allowed you to see and read what you needed in order to support your population. I know older annos didn't have it this specific, but I liked it. it was convenient.

I liked the graphics and futuristic setting and that’s pretty much it. 2070 and 1404 are vastly superior.

This, i hope anno 1800 has snowy maps again, some like in anno 1503 with wales and stuff. Anno 2205 was a beauty, but the gameplay just wasnt anno anymore, but they are back on track with 1800 again

The moon was great
Graphics
Set in 2205

Didn't like fighting on different maps, or having different maps having to support each other.
I thought 2070 was better because of it

Physical goods and real trade routes were the things i missed the most. And that awfull RTS style ship war thing in 2205 got boring real fast.

Real time combat has been an Anno thing for quite some time already. However the actual problem with the one in 2205 is it always takes place in the same 3 maps with zero variation. A later update brought back enemy invasion as one of the multiple crisis events but it just doesn't feel like the same thing

I liked that I could leave the game alone without any big consequences as long as everything was in order. Made it the perfect game to leave on and almost pay attention to while watching stuff.
Also, I enjoyed the battles. They were repetitive, but they also required proper strategy. A pleasant change from my usual anno strategy of hiding behind turrets until economy was strong enough, and then build up to the ship limit and steamroll the opponent. (=

I liked the "realistic" size change to buildings and islands.
I really love the huge Islands and the different "biomes".
I like the moon maps, because they required a strategic layout.
I liked the way upgrades worked.
I liked the DLCs
I liked the fluid changing of maps
I liked the monuments
I liked how simple to create trade routes were

I hated the combat system and how boring it got over time.
I hated the fact that there was no multiplayer and that they left out the underwater part of 2070 (love that game more than any other game in the franchise).
I didnt like that it felt really lonely because there was no enemies (DLC didnt do it for me)
I didnt like that there was no real campaign

For me Anno 2205 didnt feel like a real anno. I was more like a futuristic city builder like SimCity.
I think it was something new and could be considered a good game...but for me it was a terrible Anno game. I am glad that they returned to glory with Anno 1800

the theme, the possibility to interact on different levels, being in space building on a moon.

I would absolutely dig another sci fi Anno, but only if the basics are kept. Instead of a ship in water give me a space ship. Instead of islands give me planets, moons or asteroids, or maybe scale it down to one moon and change islands to craters. Then leave basically everything else the same, except space.
