Somebody explain passive trading please

It's been so long since I've played an Anno game that I can't for the life of me remember how to set items for passive selling.

Let's say I'm full on fish and I want to sell fish until I am down to 50 units of fish... How do I do this?

The whole system doesn't make sense to me on passive selling. Pictures are worth a thousand words for the elderly like me.

Left click on the item you wish to sell in your warehouse, reverse arrows will appear in the top left corner of the product, indicating that the resources are now being sold. Now use the slider to set the MINIMUM amount of resources you want to keep. Right click the product if you wish to disable sales.

If you set it on balanced the warehouse will buy resorses if you are under the set.
And ofc sell all above what you set.

As the above message mentions. but you can also set it to just sell or just purchase which id suggest doing if you have massive production you dont wanna waste money on something you produce so much of.
