Does Anno 1800 have a pause button?
as the title says. thanks for any info.

You can pause, and move around the map, but not do anything else while paused.

super,thank you thats perfect. Does anyone know if Anno 1404 has also a pause button?

In 1404 you can slow the game down to a crawl, effectively the same.
Press + or - on the numpad or press F11 to display additional controls.
You can also drag and drop those buttons, as well as buildings from the menu to customize what appears when you click the right mouse button.

By default "p" will pause you can look around the map but not build anything as far as I'm aware. It's the same in 1404.

In 1404 while paused you can't do anything. Even scrolling is NOT possible. You don't get any infos when hovering with the mouse either. So pause is useless. The game is just frozen.
