External Production Chain Calculator
Dear forum,

I was using various claculator tools and setteled on the Anno 1800 calculator:
https://nihoel.github.io/Anno1800Calculator/
But I am still having gross overproduction and negative income. One example where I am suspecting an error is cotton. I am a bit disappointed and inclined to start a spreadsheet of my own.

But first I want to ask you:
What is your experience with external calculation tools?
Wich one do you use?

Best regards,
Jo

Have you tried using the ingame statistics? Much better than any external calculator.

I prefere to plan for a target number of inhabitants and build the production lines first.
If I am not mistaken, the ingame stats only tell the raw number of present goods but not how many productions I will need for a future population.

Hello,
Since the beginning I would try (like on anno 1404 and 2070) to use a production calculator but i noticed they are all false , very simply cos the neeeds were differents with another island..
So i decided to play whithout and play only on the feeling .
With the time passed , you begin to know very well the game , and for exemple i may be able to go to the level 99 whithout any calculator..
the ingame statistics ( a little to late ...) seems good cos you may compare more than one island only at the beginning ....
BUT on the late game it could may crashed the game when you try to find only one item in alls yours islands..!!
So calculate some chain production could be dangerous ..

wuik: That is true. Items make calculatiosn highly complex affair. I just started a new game and going with a mix of all: ingame, external and also building my own table in the process.
