all you need to do is backup the original python35.dll.
and then copy paste from that github file. that's all you need to do for the mod loader.
but you still need the mods. go to anno 1800 on nexus mod and search for spice it up mod. i think he has the instructions on how to enable mods.
what file you download? if it's the spice it up mod. then you need to make mod folder inside anno 1800 folder. and paste it into that.
and the mod loader file need to go in the same folder as the anno1800.exe
edit :
this is taken from spice it up mod on nexus mod.
INSTALL ?
Simply place the 2 *dll files where your Anno1800.exe is located (standard = C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Anno 1800\Bin\Win64) and overwrite the *dll if asked (backup is included python23_ubi.dll) and thats it.
MODS INSTALL ?
In your main install dir of Anno 1800 needs to be a new folder called "mods" (standard = C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Anno 1800).This is where you place any modular mod that is made for the Mod loader.
its a zip file with alot of files inside... if it were only python 35 file i would have copied it already :)
and i have nothing in C i have C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher but no games directory cause its all in steamapps i have bought it on steam before they disables it
it's this one https://github.com/xforce/anno1800-mod-loader/releases.
and always pick the latest version of it.
you need to put it in your anno 1800 install directory. but on the sub folder where there is the exe for anno 1800.
example of mine :
D:\Ubisoft Games\Anno 1800\Bin\Win64
do remember to backup that dll file before pasting the mod loader.
mine is that way. because i bought the game on EGS. because i missed the steam purchase period.
If you didn't figure it out already...
D:\Games\Anno 1800\Bin\Win64
D:\Games\Anno 1800\mods
Anyone having issues with mods year end (December) 2022?
you probably need to update the mod loader. the one on github.
