how to get to artisan

Hey guys
how do you unlock the artisan section on the game ?
im at 2500 Population and not sure how to get to the next bit :)

Give the workers what they want and an upgrade shall pop up.

You ever have to fulfill all needs to 100%, you can see those needs by clicking on a house/farmerhut/etc.
When at 100%, the people settle into these houses.
You can only upgrade as soon as a house is filled up by 100% (no space left for people).

I also struggle to unlock artisans. It isn't about how to upgrade a worker building to artisans building, about this I know I've to fullfill 100% of the worker needs. It's about to unlock artisans at all. What are the requirements to unlock it? Is there a population requirement?

when you click on the house its on needs tab, try the happiness tab where it shows what makes them happy, it could be issue that those are not fullfilled why no upgrade button is lighted up

As a convenient way, click on the upgrade button on the right bottom side of the UI. Its pretty much on its corner. You can not only create buildings that you have blueprinted this way, but also upgrade all other buildings in masses, as you can draw a frame with it.
