Island stuck on Blueprint mode
one of my islands in the New World refuses to build anything straight away, but instead sets in a blueprint. Ive tried turning Blueprint mode off entirely, but that doesn't help, I'm not having this issue on my main island in the Old World.

The biggest issue with blueprint mode atm is that i cannot get my farms to work at all. i build one an it refuses to accept the field that i setup as the a usable area.

Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Me too.

This kind of thing usually happens when you lack resources to build whatever you're trying to build. How does your money look? Because that's the only resource you need to place fields.
Have you tried using the V key to change the toggle?
Also, blueprints can be "upgraded" to regular buildings - if you have all the necessary materials...

Forget it. I was mixing up clay and bricks. They look so similar in 4k. Couldn't work out why I couldn't build something.

As olympe said, it sounds like you're just lacking the required resources on said island. If you have a farm set up in blue print mode, down the bottom right there is should be an option to "construct building" or "construct building and modules" or something like that. The latter will build the fields as well. If you do build the farm and the fields/modules didn't build, just select the upgrade button (looks like a little house with an arrow next to it, very small) and then shift+click on one of the fields.

On the bottom right of the UI there's also a switch to turn the blueprint mode on so perhaps you misclicked it?
