Also buying shares will, depending on the Ai you buy it from, trigger negative relations. It is all tied to the AI itself.
Nah, mate, you're not thinking this through. Think about how shares IRL work. People become shareholders not because of their measly monthly income, but because said income is bound to increase if the business is succesful
The game works the same way, with the exception that the AI will always be succesful, except in cases of war. So(under the assumption it's on their main island) you are buying a 50.000 share that in the future is probably going to be worth 500.000.
They actually pay for themselves rather quickly.
